5 Ways to Add some Sunshine in to your Home


It’s grey enough outside to get in to the 50 shades of grey trend for interiors for /winter. Though I do have pops of red in my apartment, the scheme is more-or-less neutral in tone. I’m a fan off bright like yellow. A super-sunny is sure to make you feel less gloomy this season and next. Here, in , it has been very rainy for a few weeks now and there isn’t sign of it stopping for several months. This extreme wetness is the norm here, but every year I am surprised by how much the grey skies and soggy streets/damp air makes me feel.

Here are a few of my ideas for adding a bit of sunshine to your :

This is a bit of a subtle yellow, but because it’s in an office, I think it is still bright and cheery enough without being blinding.

Cushions can be changed out, or covers replaced. This is an easy low-commitment way to add sunshine-yellow in to an otherwise subdued interior.

    Those look really nice. I like natural light, whites and yellows but my hubby likes black, dark brown and such in the house so we often disagree with what colors to buy.
