I love acquiring new glasses to wear, and happily accepted the pair in the photo below from Clearly Contacts—but this post is more than just about my happiness at adding another pair of glasses to my collection.
Clearlycontacts.ca is teaming up with Rethink Breast Cancer this October to encourage Canadians to look for early signs of breast cancer. When caught in its earliest stages, the five-year survival rate for women ages 20-39 is almost 90 per cent.
For each pair of pink frames purchased from Clearly Contacts during the month of October, $25 will be donated to the Rethink Breast Cancer. Other than the pair you see in my picture above, there are several others to choose from—either with black and pink or just pink all over. Will you be purchasing a pair of pink glasses this month?
