Do you keep a list, and check it twice—so you don’t miss picking up something important or getting to do something fun with the kids?
Every season, I like to make a list of things I’d enjoy doing or seeing.

Part of my list for the winter season:
- Learn to ski —This is the year of doing new things, and one thing that has been on my ‘bucket list’ for a long time is learning to ski. I now (again) live in the Rocky Mountains, so skiing can be a beautiful experience.
- Have dinner parties—I’d like to entertain family a few times in the next few months, whether at their home or here.
- Work on my mom’s home—Renovation and Redecoration, though most of it will need to wait until spring.
I’m sure that most people have things they’ll be buying as gifts on their holiday lists. How do you keep it all straight?
I’d love to hear your ideas list-making this holiday season. Personally, I keep a list of things that people mention or that I think would be great for others throughout the year. I’m not someone who buys lots of gifts, but for a few select people I do pick out a present. At this time of year, lots of household products are cheaper, so I end up buying things for myself and my home.
