With the nicer weather that's arrived (or soon to), I know many people will be thinking about renovating or redecorating their homes. I'm so inspired by the freshness of a new spring day, and all the flowers/trees that are beginning to bloom, that I can't help but think of ways to freshen up interior spaces, too.
Does this sound like you, too? I've been spending some time online, looking at sites like Royal Building Products for ideas on how to fix-up a space. My mom's home is badly in need of some updating, both on the interior and exterior.
A couple products that really stand out from the Royal Building line, that I think would work really well on my mom's home, are:
- Zuri Decking by Royal — My mom has been talking about putting in some decking for years, so that she can make use of her huge backyard. The decking I saw online looked like it would work well for her backyard. I love that is described as both exotic (hardwood) and low-maintenance. Sounds like a good combination to me!
- Royal Envelop — My mom lives in Calgary, where there is a lot of heat/sunshine during summer and cold plus lots of snow, in winter. A lot of heat is lost through the windows in the winter, and cool air in summer. The Royal Envelop is a line that has window and door surrounds as well as trim. You can make sure it all co-ordinated, and works well together, this way.
- Royal Haven Insulated Siding — As I mentioned, my mom lives in a cold climate, with a lot of heat and sunshine, as well. I love the look of wood on the outside of homes. This line has a new improved palette, so that there will be some good colour-co-ordination. The vinyl siding looks similar to real wood, so I think adding it to the exterior of my mom's home would really increase the curb-appeal.
