I know I’m getting in the mood for spring, and the freshness and brightness it represents—how about you? Some of my favourite colours for the are in the pastel range—soft blues and mint greens and pale yellows.

  1. My bedroom, when I was in high school, was the most soothing shade of lavender. A perfect girly bedroom, without being toooooo girly. White canopy bed, with lavender canopy…but the drapes were bolder in color…stripes of gold, purple, and olive green. Oh how I loved that room!

    Now I tend to lean towards neutral tones, that can be matched with almost anything. Maybe it's just the "practical" in me, that says "I hate to paint"!
