I received a plug-in unit, and it was easy to install it on the wall in my bathroom. I was surprised by the quality of the towel warmer. I honestly did not expect to be sent one of these amazing towel warmers. The one we had in our place in New Zealand was something like the Elements 2-Bar. We didn’t have central heating there and it was freezing – the towel warmer was an absolute necessity! Here, we never turn on our central heating because there is plenty of heating from our neighbours in this apartment, and it just doesn’t get that cold in our place. The bathroom is a place that always feels a bit chilly, though – especially after a shower or bath. The problem is - this towel warmer makes me want to take multiple showers in a day!

How quickly does this heat up? Well, you could turn it on right before you shower, but it will only be slightly warm. I would recommend about 1 hour or so. Other than heating your towel up before showering/bathing, I like to use this to dry my towel afterward – usually, because of the super-saturation here in Vancouver, towels don’t dry in a day, and you end up using a damp towel after a shower the next day!
This would also be great for heating up a bath robe, your mittens/gloves before going outside, or even a scarf!

I used to work in a high-end lighting/bath shop a few years ago, and often looked at the store’s selection of towel warmers. Honestly, those so-called high-end products did not compare to WarmlyYours’ model! I wish we didnt live in an apartment so I could get this! Right now I just turn on the electric baseboard heat in the bathroom and put my towel and clothes on the floor in front of it. Its not convient but it works for now
