3rd Revolution Inspires DIY Creativity

This post brought to you by 3rd Revolution.

Seeing projects that other people have worked on and completed is very inspiring. I’ve been checking out submitted projects on the 3rd Revolution site, and have even submitted a few of my own.

I was nervous about submitting my projects on 3rd Revolution, at first, because I thought that everyone else’s would be so much nicer than mine. Turns out that my concerns were misplaced. It is actually really great to see projects of all kinds on the website. It was super easy to post my projects — all I had to do was sign up via Facebook or register with an email address.

3rd Revolution isn’t for completed projects solely, though I have seen quite a few of those. I’ll be updating my profile with projects that I’m working on. Currently, I’m working on fixing up the free dresser I got from a Craigslist listing. Check out my progress on 3rd Revolution.

I also uploaded pictures from another project I’ve been working on — a sideboard/makeshift coffee station which I also use for my induction cooktop. Check out my DIY Sideboard project.

With large photos and lots of information that you can update about your project, I was able to share a lot about what I’ve been doing with my two projects. On the Featured page you can take a look at the most popular projects, and follow the profiles to keep up with their progress. I found this section of the site really inspiring — seeing all the possibilities for different things I could create. I saw a lot of quilts there. I’ve admittedly never thought about taking up quilting, but seeing all those gorgeous projects, and reading about how the quilts were made — I just may change my mind!

What DIY projects are you working on? Have you checked out 3rd Revolution yet? I would encourage you to try out the website and update people on your project progress. I know a few of you are renovating your homes, and I would love to follow along, and see what you’ve been up to. Follow me — check out my profile.

I was financially compensated for writing this post, but all opinions are entirely mine.
