1. Reflect back on the year behind and set goals for the new year – For the past few years I’ve used Molly Mahar of Stratejoy’s Holiday Council to celebrate my year’s wins and planning the next year in a mindful and deliberate way. Going through this 3-week online program helps me to see how far I’ve come in the past year.
2. Danielle LaPorte Planner – I’ve tried so many planners over the years! The one I was last using was made up of lots of space for typical to-do lists, lots of appointments, and action plans for 12-week “sprints”. The Desire Map Planner from Danielle LaPorte is different, though—it’s a planner designed around core desired feelings, to basically plan your days and life around how you want to feel.
3. Your journal or notes from the past year – I like to gather my notes in one spot. I use Evernote to put it all online so that I easily search for my ideas, plans, and to-do lists. I don’t keep all my old physical notebooks anymore because I know the notes are digitized on Evernote.
5. Create a photo book – I like to celebrate the best memories from the year by creating photo books for myself and for my family. I’m now the designated photographer in my family, so I have all the digital photos taken at all our get-togethers. By creating photo books online, I can really easily send them to my friends and family. Whether or not your year has gone as planned, there's still time to finish the year strong!Click To Tweet
