I love having greenery and foliage around me—I find that the calming green colours make me feel creative and inspired. The problem is, Greg and I aren’t very good with remembering to water and take care of our plants—and brown, dead leaves are not very inspiring! Lately, I’ve been thinking that we need to just give up on real trees, and go withinstead!
I remember having a gorgeous bamboo plant, when I lived in Vancouver—it looked great throughout the summer months, but then—winter came upon us and there was darkness in the sky for months and months. There was nothing but rain and grey skies. . .and nothing left of my beautiful plant, that didn’t get enough sunlight.
You can customize youror other plants with a variety of pots to match your décor. Have a spot in the corner of your bedroom or living room that a plant would look great in? I have some places like that—but they don’t get a lot of sunlight, so I’d be worried about putting another plant there that would just end up dying! Not a green thumb, like I’m not? You’d probably do well with silk plants, too.
