This past December/Early January, Greg and I went to Antigua, Guatemala for a few days. The town used to be Guatemala’s old capital city. It is a lovely colonial style town with beautiful architecture, nice little shops and restaurants – and amazing coffee and chocolate! I would definitely recommend that people go there, especially since it is so close to Guatemala City and to Lake Atitlan and some volcanoes for other nearby excursions.
