I’ve been watching the goings-on in my apartment while I’m away using the Belkin NetCam HD
Remotely watch your home while you’re away, record funny things your pets do and find out who stole the cookie from the cookie jar.
To fully check out how well the free Belkin Netcam app works, I checked it out on both my iPad (for the iPhone app) and my Android cell phone. The live video feed was a bit on the shaky side on my phone, but the recorded video was fairly clear. It’s great to be able to see what’s going on at home when I’m away. There’s motion sensing capabilities, so I’ll know exactly what’s happening.
I didn’t have much trouble setting up the Belkin NetCam. There’s a switch on the back of the camera to use when connecting to Wi-Fi. It’s as easy as that for connecting your device(s) to the camera.
Check out some of the features of the Belkin NetCam HD:
- 720p HD: High definition so you can really make out all the shapes and figures in the videos
- Easy setup: Connect via Wi-Fi and use your smartphone or tablet to view videos
- Wide Angle Video
- Night Vision: There’s Infrared so you can see when there’s very little light
- Crystal clear sound: Not only can you watch but you can hear what’s going on
The Belkin NetCam HD ($149.99 ARV) may be just what you need, if you’re concerned about leaving your pets or your kids at home. I’m not saying you should use it as a “nanny cam,” — more that you would be pleased to have it to capture all the fun moments you might be missing when you’re away.
I was sent a Belkin NetCam In order to put together this feature.
