Blurb 7×7 Book — A Small Photo Book for Big Memories

I’m working with Blurb to bring you this post, which includes a special sale/promotion.

In the past, I made an ‘extra-large’ photo book using Blurb’s software to upload photos and design my book. When I was contacted about trying out their new, very petite photo book, I wasn’t sure how well the book would work for viewing photos. I was pleasantly surprised, though. The quality of the book I received was so high that even the smallest details looked amazing. I created a second book with many of the same photos in it, as my large book, so that I could give it to my best friend, who went on the trip with me.

At 7″ x 7″, the new size of Blurb photo book is a whole lot smaller than the one I ordered previously:

Do you have lots of pictures stored on your camera or hard drive? I know I have tons of pictures of my favourite memories that I don’t get a chance to look at often. A photo book is a great way to view your best or favourite pictures more often. If you’re concerned about putting together your photo book, don’t worry. It’s easy to put together a professional-looking book, as Blurb has Designer Photo Book Templates that make the process very easy.

I tried out a few different things the second time around, when I created my mini September 2012 book. I upgraded the linen hard cover, the inside paper and the quality of the photo paper. I really like the upgraded linen hard cover, especially (from grey to black, and a nicer texture).

Have you ever designed your own photo book? I would like to keep creating them for each major trip or occasion, as they’re fun to have around to show family and friends. You can get started with your own designer photo book now, and get 20% off your order until the end of March: Offer Code: DESIGNMYBOOK | What it’s good for: 20% Off Designer Book Templates only | Expires: 3/31/13.

Head over to Blurb.com or Blurb.ca to design your own photo book. The two photo book sizes you see in my pictures are just 2 of many. I, personally, really like the square shape for photo books, to make them stand out — but there are other sizes/shapes available as well.

Are there more designs to choose from? I personally make my own scrap book and photo book that I have never bothered buying photo books before. I will try this one and see if I get the hand out of using it.

What a great post! I've always been curious about Blurb books. It looks fantastic. I also heard you can do a blurb book of all your blog posts? I'd be curious about that, as well.
