A beautiful piece of jewelry that brings more love and luck in to my life.
One of my favourite things to do during the holiday season is to support local businesses, artists and independent brands. Getting my friends and family unique, beautiful gifts from independent brands is such a joy. The fact that I can do so from the comfort of my home, with a cup of coffee and sweet treats to keep me going, is just icing on the cake.
PinkLion is an online boutique where artists and designers can sell their handmade products, and hand-picked, quality goods are made available to people around the world. It’s a site where you can (and will) get lost in for a long time—because there’s so much great stuff to look at! Luckily, there is a “featured store” listing on the main page to help you out, as well as a category listing and a handy search bar to narrow down your choices. I came across Britta Ambauen Jewelry when I was browsing through the jewelry sub-category of the Women’s section.
This sweetly simple June Birthstone Necklace, Alexandrite from Britta Ambauen Jewelry features a sterling silver chain and a small sparkling gemstone. I like how the gemstone is attached to the middle of the chain, rather than strung through loosely. This prevents the pendant from falling off and also sliding around.
I like to have a necklace on all the time. I don’t always want something bold and attention-getting, though. This subtle, delicate necklace is something that goes with everything, and can easily be dressed up or down. One of the reasons why I chose this particular necklace, from the many beautiful ones carried by Britta Ambauen Jewelry, is that it features one of the gemstone for June: alexandrite.
I love the length of this necklace—not too short and not too long.
Take a look at Britta’s full range of jewelry on PinkLion. There you’ll find the other 11 birthstone necklaces available as well as other jewelry designs in the collection.
I was provided with the lovely necklace mentioned above in exchange for this feature, which is part of my Holiday Gift Guide. All opinions are 100% my own.
