Broadway Panhandler Kitchen Shop—New York City Travel

There are certain places that I always try to find when going on vacation—museums, art galleries, vegan restaurants. . .and kitchen shops! One kitchen shop that kept coming up in searches for New York City is the Broadway Panhandler, located near NYU and Washington Square Park.

The store is a good sized kitchen shop, with lots of room for various brands of pots, a nice selection of Bodum kitchenware, storage containers (the ones with the red tops are really great), and kitchen accessories:

I like Bodum’s selection of products a lot. This store carried their Mini Cordless Electric Water Kettle, storage containers, Bodum Bistro Electric Handheld Immersion Stick Blender, and of course their french presses. I really like our Bodum toaster that we reviewed a while back.

They have a decent selection of pepper grinders, though they don’t have the matching salt grinder to mine.

I would recommend stopping by this kitchen store (one of the only dedicated ones I came across in Manhattan) while you’re wandering around NoHo, or near NYU.

The nearest public transit: 8st. NYU (N, R lines) and Astor Pl. (4, 6, 6x lines)
