Celebrating #Mevember with Bath-Time Treats from LUSH

It’s a busy time of year with all the different holidays, events, and activities going on. I find it really easy to get caught up in all the busyness, completely failing to sit back and enjoy the little things and the joyful moments. This month, I’m celebrating #Mevember by taking time out for myself. Self-care matters ladies (and gents)!

Mevember

My month started off with  a new haircut and a trip to my local LUSH store to pick up some new eyeshadow. I love pampering myself in this way— the LUSH store always smells so wonderful, and I appreciate being able to spend my time smelling and trying out different products as I wander around. I’ve been adding in a few baths to my weekly schedule already, and will be having more as the month continues.

Of course, even my showers are made extra-special with beautifully scented and skin-softening soaps. Fairy Ring soap is a “magical scent to take you away.” Made of fresh mushrooms and is scented with jasmine absolute, ylang ylang and vetivert oils. The bright, cheerful colour combination makes shower-time happy-time.

Everyone knows the best celebrations include sparkly things and bubbles! The Sparkler Bath Bomb is fizzy, shimmery wonderful-ness to ease the stress out of your tired limbs. This bath bomb is bright yellow and snaps and pops in the tub, swirling around the wonderful Rose Jam scent and lovely colours.

If you prefer bubble baths to fizzy ones, the Wizard Bubble Bar is just what you need. The sweet little wizard-shaped bubble bar is sparkly, and uplifting-ly scented with tangerine, juniperberry and fennel essential oils. My advice is to use this Wizard Bubble Bar earlier in the day so that you can take all the magical goodness with you throughout the rest of the day. Why not start your day with a bath, for a change?

I challenge you to come up with a list of at least 10 things you’ll do this month to work on your self-care. Could be as simple as taking a relaxing bath once a week, or going in to your nearby LUSH store to try on some of their new makeup.
