I am so excited about summer, knowing I’ll be sporting the A-leigh Linen Wedges that Crocs provided me with for this post:
It’s June and I’m ready for sandal season. I always want to wear shoes with a bit of a heel to them during the warmer months, but whenever I decide to, I regret it soon after. Despite being short, I admit it, I’m not a heel girl. Mostly, I just find that I can’t balance well on tiny heels, and I don’t like having to walk more slowly. What’s a girl to do when she wants to wear a dress or skirt, though? Normally, Crocs would not be the first shoes that come to mind for a dressed-up look.
But these aren’t your standard Crocs — the kind that most likely come to mind when I mention the footwear brand. I honestly wouldn’t have thought these Parrot Green Linen Wedges could be from Crocs. These wedges have the same cushy sole that you’ve come to expect from Crocs, but in a whole different style.
I don’t know about you, but I look forward to basking in the sunshine, like my wedges are.
Made out of a comfy, lightweight linen, these wedges have a jute-wrapped espadrille-inspired heel that is just high enough to make me feel like I’m wearing heels. Being wedges, these shoes are a lot more comfortable to wear than other heels, though. The fun green colour will work well for my summer skirts. The A-leigh wedges come in other colours — Oat and Hot Pink.
The A-leigh Linen Wedges from Crocs are adjustable, which is great, because as my feet swell later in the day on a hot summer’s day, I can still be comfortable. I like how the straps criss-cross over my toes, so my feet feel really secure in the wedges. The slightly raised, strategically placed ‘bumps’ make it so my feet don’t slide. These A-leigh Linen Wedges are valued at $79,99. Find them and other perfect-for-summer shoes on the Crocs website.
