Philips EcoVantage A-Shape indoor bulbs are a bright, energy saving alternative to standard incandescents.

EcoVantage

Philips 72-Watt A19 EcoVantage Light bulbs are dimmable, bright and clear—and can offer save 28%  energy savings. They are available in Clear, Natural Light, and Soft White. If you avoid fluorescent bulbs because you don’t like the mercury content, you will be pleased to know that these new halogen standard-base bulbs are mercury-free. Places like IKEA have stopped carrying incandescent bulbs, and they are also being phased-out elsewhere, too.

For extra energy savings, one can dim these bulbs—which is also great for creating mood. In this way, the Philips EcoVantage can be used as general lighting, task lighting and accent lighting.

Thanks for your comment Darcy – I like the brightness, but it is great to be able to dim these
