Empire Theatres Reel Babies Program #ReelBabies

Ever want to see a movie but can’t find, or don’t want to spend the money on a babysitter? Empire Theatres has a great program where you can take the kids with you to the movies. I like that the movies on offer this month are ‘chick flicks’ that mothers can watch alone (with their young children), but I know that you can have a say about the movies on offer. Maybe you would like more ‘family friendly’ movies?

Twice a month people can go to a Reel Babies movie at select theatres, with children in tow—and not worry about other viewers being upset with the noise or fidgeting. The movies that are on offer for Reel Babies events have lowered volume, which is great for young ears—or little ones that might be sleeping while their parents are trying to watch the movie!  Each theatre has a change table, bottle warmer, play mat, exersaucer and baby swing, and the movies shown are new releases.

Empire Theatres has a February promotion—it’s ‘Bring a Friend’ month. Buy one admission to Empire Reel Babies and get a second free.

You can check out the Empire Theatres Reel Babies program on their website—where you can find information on the select theatres participating, the movies shown, etc.

Have you tried going to a regular movie with your young children? How was the experience? Have you checked out the Reel Babies program?

Disclosure – I am participating in the Empire Reel Babies program by Mom Central Canada on behalf of Empire Theatres. I received compensation as a thank you for my participation.  The opinions on this blog are my own.
