I like to change up my nail polish for each season. The leaves on the trees have been changing colour recently, and I’ve been seeing more sweaters, cardigans, boots and jackets showing up in all the shops. The bright blue and green nail polish from the CND Vinylux Paradise Collection I’ve been wearing all summer no longer seem to go with the colours of fall.
The new Modern Folklore collection from CND Vinylux is inspired by Faberge and fine tapestry. The collection includes these 6 shades:
Indigo Frock (dark bluish grey)
Locket Love (gold shimmer)
Rose Brocade (bright red)
Crimson Sash (shimmery deep red)
Plum Paisley (deep purple)
Fine Vermillion (shimmery orange)
Really, this collection from CND Vinylux can easily take you in to the holiday season as well. The beautiful shades of red (Rose Brocade and Crimson Sash) along with the purple (Plum Paisley) are great for holiday parties and get-togethers with friends and family. Canadian Thanksgiving is coming up, and I’ll be donning Fine Vermillion, which is a lovely shade of orange with a dash of shimmer.
What makes CND Vinylux my nail polish of choice:
- Bold colours – the shades are highly pigmented, not weak and thin.
- Weekly polish – I find that these nail polishes last about a week for me under normal circumstances. The Weekly Top Coat, which is clear, really seals in the polish colour. I love that natural light makes the polish more durable.
- Quick drying – in just 8.5 minutes, each layer of polish will be dry! There’s no need for a base coat, just 2 coats of polish and a coat of Weekly Top Coat at the end.
- Price – at just $11.90 for the weekly polishes and Weekly Top Coat, I can happily get one of each shade!
I received the Modern Folklore collection from CND in order to write this feature.
