My Favourite Ways to Achieve Style on a Budget.

Gold? Silver? Who can choose sometimes? With this necklace, I feel like I always win.

Clothing can be really pricey, and so can shoes. True, those are two ways to show your style and personality—but my favourite is actually with accessories like jewelry! A plain outfit can easily and inexpensively be jazzed-up with a necklace and some earrings. O.co has a selection that I love, including the DB Designs Two-tone Rose Gold over Silver Diamond Heart Necklace (ARV $53 CAD).

Maybe it’s a nervous habit, but I like to have a necklace on most days so that I have something to play with when I’m thinking or contemplative. The 18″ chain is the perfect length for me—it allows the pendant to hit me in the right spot to not be hidden under my top, but also doesn’t look like a choker.

Yes, this is a beautiful heart necklace—but it’s anything but girly! This sophisticated necklace suits me well. This is the type of necklace that is really versatile—it’s got a bit of glam to it with the white diamond accents, yet it’s not too “showy” that you couldn’t wear it everyday.

This necklace is really light, which is pretty perfect for not feeling weighed down by your jewelry! I like the delicate combination of the rose gold, silver and diamonds. One thing I really appreciate is how the pendant has too places where it connects to the chain, so that it doesn’t end up looking lopsided as it hangs from your neck.

I’ve been doing better this year with celebrating my successes and ME—and this necklace is definitely one way to do so! When was the last time you bought a piece of jewelry for yourself?

I was sent the above mentioned heart necklace from O.co to help me celebrate ME!
