Other than when I have to go to work (outside the home), I wear jeans most of the time. I prefer to just pack jeans with me when I travel, since they’re thick (I imagine a barrier between myself and seats and things in public), can be dressed up or down, and are great for pretty much every occasion. The problem with most jeans is that they aren’t very breathable or easy to move around in.
When I heard about Dish and Duer jeans, designed here in Vancouver to be comfortable and stylish at the same time, I knew I wanted to try them out. Dish and Duer performance denim jeans won’t make you sweat, they are stretchy, and they dry quickly.
I was sent a pair of Dish N2X Skinny Skimmer in Dusty Rose to try out. Jeans are usually really tricky with sizing—but the size I ordered fit perfectly and I didn’t need to hem them! I can’t remember the last time a pair of jeans fit me so well and were so comfortable! I wish I had several more pairs in different colours.
Here are 5 ways that I’ve styled these jeans, to give you an idea of the versatility:
Outdoorsy/Hiking
Paired with sturdy boots and a waterproof jacket (it can rain any minute in Vancouver and you need to be prepared), my Dish and Duer jeans are so comfortable to walk on trails filled with running water, rocks, mud, and roots. Not pictured: all the cute off-leash dogs and horses seen on this trail in the Delta Watershed park.
Weekend comfort
My usual go-to outfit for the weekend is jeans plus a light sweater. This combo is perfect for running errands and tidying my apartment, along with going out to brunch.
Stay at home office day

When I have a “work from home” day, I like to be comfortable, but still dressed (I don’t wear pyjamas unless I’m going to sleep). A sweatshirt and these jeans are a perfect combination!
Warm and cozy
Evening

A lace-y camisole and blazer are all I need to dress up these jeans so I can go hang out with a few friends.
