Like the basement, the garage is the space in a home that is often used as a dumping ground for storage, out-of-season items, and junk. Summer is a great time to open your garage door and air out the space, while getting things organized and in easy-to-find order.
I was recently introduced to Gladiator GarageWorks‘ line of organizational products. Looking at the site now, it looks like they’ve added several new products to fully stock and organize the garage: fridges, workbenches, tool storage, wall units, cabinets, flooring and more.
I am especially interested in their wall storage line, which works well to keep things off the floor. The Bike Claw that I was sent to review does just that. Utilizing the oft-unused ceiling for added storage is brilliant. The Bike Claw from Gladiator GarageWorks is easily installed in to the ceiling and works to suspend a bike (from 1 or 2 claws).
Traditional bike hooks and storage units require complicated assembly, and make it difficult to mount or remove your bike without lots of effort. The Gladiator Claw™ storage device quickly anchors to the ceiling and is ready for use within minutes — just push your tire against the Plunger Pad and go!
Having a bike suspended in this way is great for safety—I always seem to get my sleeves caught on rubbery bicycle handles, and pant legs caught on sharp chains.
Let’s talk about the aesthetics—have a gorgeous bike you want to show off? What better way then to suspend it from the ceiling, rather than have it lean up against a pile of stuff, or sit lonesome in an alley or backyard?!
Available from Amazon, this Gladiator GarageWorks Claw Advanced Bike Storage unit will definitely be something I add to my garage when I have one, for now, I will attach it to the ceiling in my mom’s back entrance. I look forward to trying out other products, like the tool storage and GearWall range, when I start organizing my (future) garage/basement in the home I plan to buy next year. The approximate value of this product is $59.
I was sent this Bike Claw in order to write this honest review. I was not compensated in any other way. This post contains an affiliate link to Amazon.
