Going Back to School in Style

Whether you’re heading back to school, continuing your lifelong learning path, or heading back to the office after some vacation time, you’ll want to arrive in essential items that suit your personal style.

Products to suit your personal style can be found at Redbubble, who has you covered in the style department. Independent artists design patterns and create prints that go on all the essentials you need—tote bags, clothes (t-shirts, leggings, sweatshirts, hoodies), gadget cases, notebooks, and more. Go all out, so it’s clear that you’re a mega-fan of that one TV show, or are a book-nerd who likes to have quotes on everything, or go a more subtle route. It’s up to you.

Going Back to School in Style

Here, I’ve chosen 4 items that will help you show off your personal style:

Back to School

Back to School

T-Shirts

For casual days studying at the library, weekend fun, or lounging at home spending some time on your computer, t-shirts are the go-to clothing of choice. This The Mountains Are Calling print is designed by thepapercrane.

Large Pouches

This beauty fits much more than your average pencil case would. I like to load mine up with my cell phone, wallet, keys, pens, and a small notebook, when I’m heading to the library or working at a park. I throw this pouch in to a tote bag, and I’m good to go—without all the small things rattling around loosely in my bag. You can also use it to put a stationery kit together, which would contain Post-It notes, a highlighter, pens, white-out, and a notepad.  If you’re a blogger or entrepreneur, you can choose a pouch that co-ordinates well with your branding. See how I’ve done so, with the pouch above?

Tote Bags

The quintessential item to carry everything you need to the library, school, work, the grocery store, or a park. This one has one of my favourite quotes on it, is nice and dark (which making it less likely to get mysterious stains on it), is lined, and is the perfect size for a variety of needs. You can purchase tote bags—like this one—from Redbubble, in 3 different sizes (small, medium, and large).

Scarves

Sometimes, the air conditioning inside buildings can leave you feeling chilly, so a scarf can come in handy to drape about your shoulders, or lay across your lap. Scarves aren’t just for keeping you warm, use thin, lightweight scarves—like the ones from Redbubble—year-round to dress up an outfit. A patterned scarf can be just what you need to take your day-time outfit and make it evening-appropriate. I’m still learning how to tie a scarf around my neck in different, flattering ways. If you have any tips, let me know!

So, instead of getting the same stuff at the big box stores, why not check out Redbubble to get unique items for back to school?!

I want to know: what items are on your back to school list?
