Cariboo Blades are crafted in my old home province of British Columbia (B.C.), who hand forge kitchen knives, tools and cutlery.
Aki and I make each knife a unique piece. We recover tough lumber mill high carbon saw blade steels, high quality tool steels. Handforged, hardened and differentially tempered, the edge is strong and hard while the rest of the knife is kept tough and flexible.
I have my eye on a handmade Japanese knife, created using ancient traditional forging techniques.
