I can picture having company over for the holidays or in the summer, and bringing out coffee or lemonade on this handmade wooden tray.

Handmade tray

Products on MyMela help celebrate the handicrafts of India. Made of high-quality wood, and expertly carved in the centre to create a beautiful border and middle design, this handmade wooden tray is of a good weight/is really durable.

I can just smell India in this tray—and it brings back memories of my trip. I do love the natural smell of this tray. Another thing I like—the tall sides, so you can easily put your cups of tea, biscuits, and more on this tray, all at once.

About the wooden tray:

Whether serving appetizers to guests or enjoying a casual dinner in front of the TV, this quality wood tray will serve you with distinction. The tray features an inlaid floral design in old world white and is made of mango wood, a versatile and sustainable, dense hard wood.
• Approx. Dimensions: 14.7″L x 13.9″W x 2.7″H
• Carrying handles.

Mela (may.lah): A Hindi word for country fair or festival.

I’m a huge advocate for supporting artists and handmade products—and this is especially easy to do for the holidays given the sheer number of gifts people buy. There are so many occasions where I like to buy handmade products for the home to give as gifts. . .housewarmings, birthdays, weddings.

I’m considering hanging this tray on the wall as a decoration, but want to still be able to use it to put stuff on. I’ll have to figure out how I can do that! I could use picture rail and sort of lean it against the wall, maybe?!

This handmade wooden tray is valued at $29.95. Read about MyMela’s vision here.

I would recommend MyMela for holiday gift giving. It is part of my House to Home holiday gift guide, because handmade items like this do wonders to add a personal touch to your home. Check out the rest of the products in my housewares gift guide.

WIN! You have a chance to enter to win a MyMela product—your choice of handmade picture frame!

I was provided with the tray in order to conduct this review. All opinions are 100% my own. I was not compensated in any other way.
