I Love Vegetables! Do your Clothes Make you Feel Like Yourself?

What do the clothes you wear say about you? I’m not talking about looking at someone and judging them based on the brands they wear, or how soccer-mom-y they look.

Do your clothes make you feel like yourself? I had to ask myself that, as I looked through my closet and dresser not long ago.

I recently went through a purge and donated all the clothes that I no longer love and make me feel both beautiful and like myself. How much of what I had didn’t fit that description? Oh, about 2 garbage bags full!

I’m all about being deliberate about what I bring in to my little apartment and in to my space in general. Quality over quantity, consciously choosing what I purchase and give a place in my home and in my life.

William Morris Quote

I’m a long-time fan of Redbubble, because I love how unique their prints are—and how you can get them on a variety of things from t-shirts to cellphone cases to duvet covers (as well as prints to hang on your walls). When I found out that they were not selling printed leggings, I knew I needed to check them out. I don’t own many pairs of leggings, so I took to my Facebook profile to ask my friends which of my top three choices I should pick. I also got some ideas on what to wear the chosen leggings with.

I didn’t want to have just another item of clothing to have to donate soon because I didn’t find it worked for me and my lifestyle. I knew that if I welcomed a new pair of leggings in to my life, they needed to really work with some of my other clothes, as well as make me feel authentically me.

Printed Leggings

As a vegan and all-round veggie-lover, these I Love Vegetables printed leggings from Redbubble feel so me! And, did you notice that they’ve got mint and salmon colours on them? My blog colours! Perfect!

Leggings - I love Veggies

These leggings are comfortable, printed on both sides, and the colours work well with the clothes I already own.
