Level Ground Trading Review – House to Home

Every family has their own holiday traditions. My grandmother was always adamant that Christmas morning proceed in an orderly and civilized fashion. First came brushed teeth, washed face, and clean hands, then came breakfast. A full spread. Finally, and only after the dishes were washed—presents.
It’s a tradition that persists in my family, and it’s helped along by a good cup of coffee. This year, we intend to tuck into a fair-trade, organic, and locally roasted cup of beans, before tearing into our stockings.

About The Product

Level Ground Trading is a Victoria BC based company which specializes in organically grown Direct Fair Trade beans from roasters in Central and South America. A feature which we particularly like is that empty bags can either be sent back to Level Ground, or returned to a retail partner, for upcycling. The standard bags are a modest 300g, a perfect amount for pre-roasted beans, small enough that you’ll go through them before they go off.

Over the years they’ve been in business, we’ve tried a variety of their roasts—our favourite? Their Peruvian Roast, a smooth medium roast that works perfectly brewed up as espresso, providing a rich thick crema and balancing an effervescent brightness of flavour with deep chocolate notes.
We were recently sent 3 bags to try – Peruvian, Ethiopian and Espresso.

Perfect Gift For

Anyone who loves coffee!
