You could call this a LUSH love story of sorts, for I have long been admiring the goods from this cruelty-free brand of beauty products.
As I recall, I first saw, or rather smelled, LUSH products when I went to London in 1998. My cousins and I popped in to a LUSH store, and I saw huge chunks of handmade soap that looked like cheese. That was it. . .love at first site, if you will. The smells, the colours. . .it was an experience unlike any other. I don’t recall what kinds of LUSH goodies I purchased that
I enjoyed buying and using LUSH products before I became vegan – but knowing they had everything clearly labeled and tons of options available made me fall in love with LUSH all over again when I did.
One of my goals this year is to spend more time relaxing. The prospect of being able to use yummy-smelling beauty products makes it easy to want to enjoy some self-care time.
I can’t remember the last bubble bath I enjoyed—it’s been years since I’ve had a bubble bar from LUSH. A soak in the bathtub with the sweetly floral scented Rose Jam Bubbleroon was the perfect way to get into this relaxing habit again. It’s easy to use this bubble bar twice, since it’s two pieces connected together (see the picture above). The Rose Jam Bubbleroom softens and soothes skin and is oh-so-relaxing!
For those days when I don’t have time for a full bath, the Neon Love Soap puts a smile on my face—the perfect way to start a day! The bergamot and rosewood in the soap ensure that I relax a bit first thing in the morning, and the bright pink colour cheers me up and cheers me on!
Heading to the gym or to visit my family—I can still relax and enjoy some time in the bathroom with my favourite products. The Prince Charming Shower Gel is highly portable, so there are no excuses for finding time to relax!
Is spending more time relaxing on your list for this year, too? I know of a few ways you can achieve your goal this year! I was lucky to receive the above mentioned LUSH products. Take a look at the full collection and get more information on the products I mentioned at Lush.ca
