New Skincare Adventures with SeabuckWonders

I’m not usually very adventurous when it comes to skincare, but I’m glad I had the chance to try out the SeabuckWonders line of skincare products.

I have sensitive skin so don’t use anything that’s got a lot of scent or too many ingredients that I can’t pronounce, and as an additional requirement, I don’t use anything that isn’t vegan (not made of animal by-products).

I received the Natural Skin Care Program, which includes body lotion, facial cleanser, deep hydrating serum and  facial cream. I really like the scent of this line of products, which reminds me a bit of roses. I’ve especially enjoyed trying out the cleanser, which has exfoliating beads in it. I don’t change out my facial creams often. . .actually, I’ve been using the same brand for the better part of 10 years. But, I am regularly trying out new cleansers. Most cleansers tend to be either too drying or not cleansing enough, where my makeup just won’t come off.

My favourite of the skin care line is the facial serum, which is light and non-greasy. It’s perfect for Vancouver, since it isn’t heavy on my skin. I can use the serum on its own in summer or under the facial cream in winter. The body lotion is on the thin side, yet it is well-hydrariting. I use it on my legs at night.

What is Sea Buckthorn?

Sea Buckthorn is a berry that provides 10 times more vitamin C oranges, is the third highest source of vitamin E in the plant world, and is used to heal radiation burns. You can read more about it here.

So, these products work really well, and are great on my sensitive skin—but how much do they cost? Surprisingly, they are really affordable, and I plan on purchasing the serum and the facial cleanser when I run out of these ones. All the products that I received are valued at $73.84. The facial cleanser is only about $16.

I received the Sea Buckthorn products mentioned above from Seabuck wonders, in order to create this post, but that doesn’t mean I’ve said anything I don’t mean. I’m not like that.
