During hot summer days, when I want to spend time outdoors, and cool winter days when I’d rather be cozy with a loved one or checking out a favourite restaurant with family and friends, the last thing I want to do is cut the day short by having to do a load of laundry! It’s usually such a long process, needing to use laundry soap, plus stain remover (I often cook and am a little bit clumsy!), and of course fabric softener (who wants clothes that are stiff as a board? Not me).
Living in an apartment, the communal laundry room is in the basement, not in my own space. I tell ya, lugging a heavy basket full of bed sheets and linens is hard enough on my knees and always-sore shoulder—having to carry the basket plus laundry soap, fabric softener, and stain remover up and down three flights of stairs? It’s not fun, let me just say! To say that having found Tide Pods, that combine pre-measured detergent, which cleans, brightens, and fights stains in each load has changed the ease of which I do laundry, is an understatement.
I seriously love just needing to take down a single, very light, and easy to carry, Tide Pods with me downstairs to do my laundry. This has made it so I can quickly and effortlessly throw in a load of laundry during my busiest days, without a second thought.
Other than ease-of-use and the convenience of just using one small multi-chamber laundry detergent, I also like that Tide Pods uses a film that dissolves completely in the wash, even in the cold water that I always use. Since I live by myself, I don’t often have enough dirty clothes/linens to do much in terms of separation. I like that I don’t have to worry about it, since Tide Pods are designed to handle a range of soils and fabrics. It all comes out clean and spot-free!
