Eco-Friendly Metal-Smithing Inspired by Forests

I am forever on the search for everyday earrings, preferably studs, to wear. I do love dressier earrings, but especially enjoy simple earrings like these for normal use—so my ear piercings don’t close up. These Elliot Baby Bird (stud) earrings are both handmade and eco-friendly, containing as much recycled sterling silver as possible.

Handmade These earrings are oxidized, so they are on the dark size. I’m rather pleased to have these earrings, which are nature-influenced, and would be great to wear all year long. These are handmade in North Carolina by Elijah and Rhonda Wyman. A bit about the artists:

Artists Rhonda and Elijah Wyman are a husband and wife team making adorable yet sophisticated sterling jewelry which is designed to complement an elegant wardrobe or simply spice up your favorite jeans and t-shirt. Each piece is either forged, sewn, or soldered by hand and much of their work is inspired by the simple beauty found in forests, both imaginary and real.

Quality The posts on these earrings are nice and thick so I don’t have to worry about them bending or breaking. The birds are a good size and of high-quality sterling silver. I’ve seen many earrings in this price range that are just bits of glass or something, cheaply stuck on the front of a post—but these are only $28 and are good quality. Because these are made of metal, they can be recycled when they are done with. I really appreciate that these are eco-friendly, yet also very high quality—and cute, too!

If you’re looking for stocking stuffers, the Best Stocking Stuffer Ideas can be found on UncommonGoods.

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of UncommonGoods for a variety of gifts for the whole family. I would love to buy these earrings for members of my family. If you’d like to buy them, the Baby Bird Earrings are $28.

Those are really cute stud earrings. I've looked at Uncommon Good's earrings before and they have so many interesting ones as well as gorgeous ones. If you're going for funny, get the phillips head screw stud earrings. lol Although, if you're going for pretty, get the baby bird studs like the ones you got. 😉
