renovation redecoration

So far, we have replaced the toilet in the main bathroom with a Kohler, water-conserving toilet. The toilet works really well, and I like the look of it. I know about quality plumbing products, and know that Kohler’s range of products are of high quality and look great, too.

We have also looked in to paint colours, and chosen some nice shades of yellow for the walls in the main living area as well as the upstairs. The yellow colour is quite neutral—not a lemon or neon yellow! What do you think of yellow for walls? We also looked at the pricing of baseboards and crown moulding. I just love crown moulding in a home—so classy, and such a simple fix!

I am next looking in to some hardwood or laminate for the living room/dining room/kitchen.

I’m working on renovating and redecorating my mom’s older home, and I’ll be tracking my progress and sharing product reviews/recommendations here with you. You can take a look at my (partial) to-do list here: Renovation Redecoration Progress.
