It’s starting to get nicer out so we naturally can’t wait to take a few road trips. One of the reasons we moved to Calgary was to be close to the Rocky Mountains. With Greg leaving for Seattle for a writing workshop in June, we need to get in as many day trips as we can — to the places in Alberta that we’ve been missing for so long.

Although it’s a bit early for it—I’m anxious to get out and do a bit of camping. We’ll be sharing some information on emergency car essentials — necessary for a short or long road trip.

Do you enjoy camping or road-trips?

I am more of a road trip person myself. I love driving across the country and visiting new places along the way. I always pack up my little backpack of essentials and take off. I always have bpa free water bottles, beef jerky, dried fruit and of course my iPod!
