On a regular basis, I clean my bathroom to make it clean enough for myself —but does it pass the ‘guest-test?’ Whether it’s for a special occasion or just having guests over, I definitely think about the state of my bathroom above any other room. I’ve been using Rubbermaid Bathroom Tools to make my bathroom more guest-friendly lately, as we get closer to the holidays, and will be putting the tools to the ultimate test right before I have company over.
What areas of a bathroom should you focus on when cleaning, to prepare for guests’ arrival?
- The mirror, and also lightly dust any light fixtures or art that is hanging.
- For overnight guests who might be using the bathroom, I would thoroughly clean the bathtub/shower, including the spout and handles, plus the tile. For guests who are just coming by for dinner, I might skip this step if things don’t look too bad.
- The toilet – inside and also the lid and tank.
- The faucet and the sink.
We all know that many people like to go through medicine cabinets/cupboards to snoop—so, better make sure those areas are also organized and cleaned up a bit.
How can Rubbermaid Bathroom Tools help clean all those areas? Well, the set is customizable in a way—there are several components that you can buy separately to clean whichever areas you need.
Here are some of my favourite components in the Rubbermaid Bathroom Tools line of products:
