Simpler Living

This book: Simpler Living: A Back to Basics Guide to Cleaning, Furnishing, Storing, Decluttering, Streamlining, Organizing, and More by Jeff Davidson, published by Skyhorse Publishing is perfect for those that want a bit of help organizing their home, office and life generally.

This is more of a resource that you can refer to on a variety of topics, rather than a book to read from cover to cover. I especially like the section on seasonal cleaning.

“The Arrival of spring presents the perfect opportunity to give your home a once-over and make sure everything is functional.”

The section on seasonal cleaning says that it is important to give your home a regular check-up, preferably every 6 months. The checklist they provide is really helpful, because I don’t always remember to do things like check the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Proof that this book really does cover more than just your home and organization—there is a nice section on pets. Additionally, you can find information about managing money, healthcare, travelling, and setting up a small business!

How to win 1 of 2 copies of Simpler Living: A Back to Basics Guide to Cleaning, Furnishing, Storing, Decluttering, Streamlining, Organizing, and More:

Mandatory Entry: Leave a comment telling me what area of the home or your life you’d like to work on decluttering/organizing.
