Staples® Canada and AIR MILES® Reward Program Celebrate Back to School by Giving Back—to 37 Boys and Girls Clubs in Alberta!
Last Wednesday, July 4th, Staples employees and many families were out at Staples store at 321 – 61st Avenue S.W. Calgary to help stuff “Summer FUN-damental Packs”, with some fantastic Staples products. These super-fun packs were then donated to 37 Boys and Girls Clubs in the province.
What does Staples consider to be FUN-damental for summer?
Well, there are lots of fun craft products/books/materials—I especially like the Stow and Go Studio, where children can get creative on the road. If kids are busy with their own fun activities, they’ll be less likely to ask “Are we there yet?”, right? Of course, there are educational (yet still fun) inclusions as well, like flash cards.
Although I didn’t get a chance to make it out to the event (apparently it isn’t considered work-related?), I do have some pictures so you can all see how it went:

“Giving back to the community is very important to both Staples and AIR MILES,” says Brian Coupland, Director of Innovation & Marketing, Staples Canada. “We are thrilled to partner on this special event to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of Alberta and to share our excitement around our own partnership that will reward Albertans every time they shop at Staples.”
If you live in Alberta, you can earn Air Miles Reward Miles for your Staples Canada purchases! You can buy in store, online or through the catalogue. So where are you going to go for your back-to-school or office supplies? I know where my first place for notebooks, pens and everything else I need is! Staples, of course! I could seriously spend hours there picking out the perfect notebook. . .just like I did when I was in university. The Staples store on the UBC campus was a real life-saver when I had an exam and forgot my pens or #2 pencils at home!
Watch out for an exciting (and FUN) giveaway, starting tomorrow!
