A Beautiful Way to Celebrate Success!

I’m a passionate eyeglass collector. ClearlyContacts.ca fuels this obsession with their stylish, budget-friendly frames. Since I wear glasses everyday of my life—I can’t possibly be faulted for adding another pair to my collection, can I?

I fully believe in celebrating milestones, holidays, and achievements big and small. I absolutely think that adding a new pair of glasses to my collection is an excellent and appropriate way to celebrate. Would you agree? Some people like jewelry or pretty clothing, but me—I like to get myself practical, yet beautiful gifts like eyewear.

So, what am I celebrating now, and what do my new Derek Cardigan glasses have to do with it? I haven’t really shared this with you, but I transformed my love of social media marketing in to a business. I have been working in social media for several years through “real” jobs I’ve had, promoting products and services through my blogs, and also promoting the same for small business owners and entrepreneurs. This past December I got serious, decided on a business name, started taking more business classes, and put some plans in action. I’m happy to say that things are going in a great direction and I see big things coming from this throughout the year. (P.S. here is my new biz website: Whirligig Social)

Last year, so many things changed for me, that it was hard to take the time to focus on the achievements and to celebrate along the way. Doing things for me gives me confidence to push through the hard times and struggles that come from starting a new business. Here is my celebratory gift to myself:

The Derek Cardigan glasses look so great on me, and I love that one side has a “colon” and the other a “semicolon” on the front of the frames. So delightfully nerdy. I love it! The retro-ish tortoise-shell cat-eye frames totally suit me and my personality. I like to put these frames on when I am “getting serious” on my computer. That’s one thing I love about having a growing glasses collection: something for every occasion! Want to get your hands on a pair of the same or similar Derek Cardigan glasses? Head over to ClearlyContacts.ca and celebrate YOU and all your awesomeness!

The above mentioned celebratory gift was given to me by ClearlyContacts.ca, because they are really awesome! I was a HUGE fan and advocate for ClearlyContacts.ca long before we started working together, so this is a truly heart-felt message of love.

pssst. . .these LOVE glasses are only $48 until Feb 17th!!
