Getting Up Close to the Action with a Table Top Tripod

A table top tripod will get you close to the action—wether you’re taking pictures of your food for the next recipe you’re hoping to post on your blog, or wanting to film a particularly awesome speech from someone is giving at a family get together, having a solid place to do this from is essential.

This table top tripod is super portable—I can fit it in my purse quite easily, to be able to set it up anywhere. The 3Pod line of tripods is exclusively offered at Adorama. This tripod is the table top version, but there are so many others available.

This pint-sized tripod is surprisingly brawny and folds to just seven and a half inches. At a super-light half-pound, the PTT1H Mini Tabletop 3Pod Tripod can be tucked conveniently into any bag or purse for easy transport. The included K1 ball head uses a ¼-inch universal mounting screw compatible with most digital cameras.

Okay, I know what you’re probably thinking:

1. What purpose would I have for a table top tripod?

If you’re setting up an interview, or want to record someone giving a speech, or maybe you want to take pictures of your dining table and food—but your hands are way too shaky.

2. How can I get one of these awesome table top tripods for myself?

You can find the 3Pod PTT1H Table Top Tripod here.

I recently purchased a 50mm lens for my Canon DSLR, and plan on taking lots of portrait pictures, pictures of my food and of course—product pictures in the coming months. This tripod is just what I’ll be using for those shots.

I’ve been checking out the 3Pod Table Top Tripod which was sent to me, in order to be able to write this feature.
