Fredericksburg Texas Travel —a Little German Town in Central Texas

Fredericksburg Texas is about a 1 hour drive from San Antonio. We stopped by Fredericksburg for the night between Midland and San Antonio—and we were so glad that we did. Notes from the Road— Central Texas Travel

Driving from West Texas to Central Texas was sad—I miss the dry desert and the amazing landscape, not to mention the small town atmosphere, and having the highways to myself.
