I really couldn’t have gotten this far without your support and interest! I am so happy you’re all here and joining me on this adventure.
Along with the giveaway I’m sponsoring, I am giving back by putting together a series all about blogging! Whether you’re a blogger, want to be one, or blog for your business website, this series is for you!

Bigger, Better Blogging Week

I would love it if you shared this image to help spread the word about this week all about blogging.

I’ll be sharing some of my best advice, tips and resources with you all—and whether you’re a newbie blogger or have even more experience than I do, I’m sure you’ll learn something new!
I’m super excited! I have now been blogging and using social media for fun and business for over 5 years! I couldn’t have gotten this far without the support of my audience, so I’m giving back by sharing what I’ve learnt so far.
Here’s a bit about why I chose to start a blog when I did: during my years at university, I’d switched my major and minor a few times. I was (and still am) interested in so many different subjects that it was really hard to focus on just one field of study. So many of the arts programs were appealing to me. Instead of letting the “shiny objects” distract me, I decided to start a lifestyle blog where I could persue my various interested.

Things have changed over time, with my lifestyle blog, and with this business, which is kind of an awesome thing. If you’ve been following this blog for a while (thank you!), you’ll know that I used to post more about home décor. That subject is still of interest to me, but I decided to split off and create Love Snap Make to cover that topic, plus I live in a small apartment and don’t change out my furniture etc very often.

In the second post in the series (live on March 22nd), I’ll be sharing what I learnt from my 5+ years of blogging. You’ll be able to see that post and the rest in the series over on my WhirligigSocial.com website, where I discuss all things blogging and social media.
Other topics in the series include:
  • legal stuff you must have on your blog (from guest poster Gena Shingle Jaffe, a lawyer for entrepreneurs)
  • monetization
  • creating wow-worthy blog posts
  • my favourite resources
  • blogging and business goals
and more!
If you know someone who would love to learn more about blogging, I’d love for you to share the sign up for the free series here!
