Vintage Lace for Wedding Ideas and Looks

Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s eve, more people get engaged than any other time of year. If you’re married, did you have a long or short engagement? So far this year, 2 people that I know have gotten married, and several more will be typing the knot later this spring and summer, too.

As you may know, Pantone’s colour of the year is Emerald Green, and with the movie “Oz, The Great and Powerful” coming out soon, I thought that a lovely Emerald Green wedding theme would be perfect. I am a big fan of using touches of vintage lace in weddings, which I think is just such a timeless look.

A vintage lace circle scarf like this one is great for a more casual wedding, or when you change for your reception.

Take a look at that gorgeous cake! It’s simple, yet very elegant.

Green isn’t just a colour, when it comes to weddings. Many weddings are really big, and possibly wasteful. There’s been a big push in the last few years to make weddings more eco-friendly/green. This is where things like vintage clothing, wedding favours, and decorations come in. If you want to have a unique wedding/reception, I would recommend using vintage materials whenever you can.

Would you consider wearing a coloured dress for your wedding?
