Vegan Tomato Salsa

This is such an easy salsa to make! You'll wonder why you ever had store-bought salsa. You can adjust the spice level in this salsa from mild to extra hot. It can be made ahead and keeps for up to a week in the fridge.

  • 5 Medium Roma tomatoes
  • 1 Small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ bunch cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 lime
  • salt to taste


  • Roughly chop tomatoes and onion. Set aside.
  • Put garlic cloves in mini chopper or food processor, until finely chopped.
  • Add onion and pulse for a few seconds.
  • Add tomatoes and do the same.
  • Squeeze the juice of one lime, salt to taste, jalapeño, and cilantro to the food processor. Pulse until mixed together.
