Hi, I’m Tazim Damji, and I believe in crafting a life and home that feels like you. My journey in blogging began over 16 years ago, in March 2010, when I started BeingTazim.com as a way to express my creative side while studying at the University of British Columbia.

Back then, I was deeply immersed in academics but craved a space to explore my love for design, vegan living, and meaningful connections.

What started as a personal outlet has grown into a platform where I share tips and inspiration to help you create a cozy, intentional home and life.

Whether it’s whipping up vegan recipes on a budget, decorating your space to feel like a sanctuary, or finding smart ways to simplify your routine, my goal is to empower you to embrace your creativity and make every corner of your life a little brighter.

Outside of blogging, I’m an avid reader of non-fiction, a passionate traveller, and a lover of art and vegan cuisine. My year spent in New Zealand and my travels throughout Canada and beyond have profoundly shaped my perspective and the content I share.
