Toyota Prius Event & Rally Next is Now #toyotalove

I was already a fan before, but a day spent learning more about Toyota’s family of hybrid Prius cars and I feel like I’m cheating on my own car. I was treated to breakfast and an interesting talk about how hybrids work, the range of cars, and the future of Toyota hybrids before the real fun began.

Toyota’s Hybrid family:

With 5 checkpoints at places around Vancouver, other participants and I took out cars to go on a rally to try to stay in the ‘electric’ range while driving the hybrids we took out.

A few of my favourite Toyota Prius tidbits:

  • they are 85% recyclable
  • 98% of battery components are recyclable
  • there are recycled parts throughout the car
