A Grilling Alternative — BIC FlameDisk

BIC FlameDisk makes outdoor grilling convenient and portable, as I came to know using the products.

Each single use FlameDisk comes ready to use in the box.

My family enjoys grilling at public parks, but the clean-up is frustrating. On top of that—who wants to grill when someone else’s charcoal is in the BBQ? With FlameDisk, set-up is easy.

Summer is just starting, and I have plans to do quite a bit of grilling in the next few months. I am really looking forward to grilling corn, especially. Is there anything more quintessential than grilled corn in summer? It’s so much more delicious grilled than simply boiled, and is so much easier to prepare when having a picnic or BBQ. FlameDisk

FlameDisk uses ethanol as the main fuel ingredient. Our ethanol comes from corn, a renewable resource. The FlameDisk lights instantly and burns for approximately 40 minutes, easily enough time for a couple rounds of grilled food. When you’re done grilling, before disposing of FlameDisk, burn all fuel completely and then let cool an additional 10 minutes before handling.

My favourite thing about this product is that it was so easy to clean up after my family had a BBQ — when it cooled down, it was quick and clean to throw the FlameDisk out.

You can find BIC FlameDisks at your local hardware store, grocery stores and wherever you purchase BBQ and picnic accessories. I received a few FlameDisks to try out for this feature.
