One of my favourite things to do when the weather is warm is to take a road trip to places near and far. The open road, the freedom to stop when and wherever I want to, and the sense of adventure are all so appealing! In order to have a much more enjoyable time while driving, it’s important to me to have clean air circulating. With spring pollen and other allergens still in the air, I’m changing out the cabin air filter. As FRAM® is a trusted name with expertise in filtration, I am using the FRAM® Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter in my vehicle. I purchased mine from Canadian Tire, but they are also available at Part Source locations.
While there are some vehicle repairs and maintenance that I trust my local mechanic to handle for me, the installation of the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter is really easy to replace! In fact, when I see an estimated time on things, I typically add extra time for completion. I don’t like to rush things, but the installation of the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter (the only cabin air filter with Arm & Hammer!) took LESS time than stated. I’m including a quick video and step-by-step instructions to show you just how easy it is to remove odours flowing through the vehicle ventilation system with a FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter.

How to install a FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter
Select the correct filter
FRAM’s Part Source page allows you to easily check to see if your vehicle will take a cabin air filter and also tells you which part number you need based on information about your vehicle.
Once you’ve found the correct part number for your FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter, you can download a PDF copy of the installation instructions.

The FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter can be found at your local Canadian Tire Corporation retailer, either purchased online or in-person at one of their many shops across Canada.

1. Open the Glove Compartment

2. Push in both sides of the glove compartment

3. Locate the cabin air filter tray. Unlock it by pressing the tabs on each side. Pull the tray towards you.

4. Remove the dirty cabin air filter from the tray

5. Open the package and put in the new cabin air filter

This was the first time that I’ve changed the cabin air filter in my vehicle since purchasing it used from the dealership. I was told that the cabin air filter was changed prior to my having purchased the vehicle, so I was surprised by how quickly it got so filthy! I can clearly see how much dirt and debris had been trapped inside it and I’m glad that I installed a fresh one prior to leaving on my road trips this season.
If you hadn’t previously been thinking about having clean air during a road trip, I’m sure you will be now. FRAM’s Fresh Breeze technology keeps up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. For someone with seasonal allergies and sensitivities to dust and other things, this is such good news. Now you see how easy it is to have clean air during a road trip!
