Give Yourself the Gift of a Good Night’s Sleep

Sleep is awesome. I feel fairly confident in saying that most people agree with me. In fact, I would venture to say that the majority of people want a good night’s sleep. Are you with me, here? Let’s go a step further—of all the things one could wish for around the holiday season, I would say that sleep is the thing that I have seen wished for more than anything else.

5 Key products that will help you sleep well this season

Octaspring Pillows for a Good Night’s Sleep

The Memory Evolution pillow is a great combination of support and comfort. The springs perfectly support my head and neck while allowing them to remain cool and comfortable.

Sleep Better Naturally: Choose Natural Fabric Bed Linens

Getting a better night’s sleep depends on many different factors, one of which is the quality of your bed linens. When you purchase sheets and other bed linens for your bed, don’t just choose based on colour and pattern. Choose natural fabric bed linens for a cool, comfortable night’s sleep.

Great sleep comes down to a few outside factors. One that you can control is what you lay your body down on. Like when playing the Sims, your comfort score increases greatly when you purchase the best mattress.

Feel Cozy and Comfortable with Quality Sleepwear

Cozy, soft fabrics that are breathable and comfortable are ideal for sleeping in. Fabric made from bamboo is known for being really soft, but, I was blown away by how light and smooth the PJs from Nest Designs are. What’s a little strange to me is how well these PJs fit me! Like, I don’t even need to hem them. How is that possible? I love wearing pants to bed, but I often feel too warm to do so. These PJs are very breathable and airy. I think they’d be great for lounging in, too.

The Where’s The Bear pattern that I chose isn’t too busy and has just the right amount of subtle colouring. Nest Designs has very cute matching sets for moms and kids. I noticed that they also have men’s PJs now, too. How fun would it be to have the entire family in similar PJs?

I’d been looking for sustainably made PJs for a long time before I discovered Nest Designs. I’m happy to know that they were designed right here in Vancouver! Learn about Nest Designs.

Try a Sound Therapy Machine

You may know them as white noise machines, but sound therapy machines are much more than that. One of my tips for getting a night of more restful sleep is to use a sound therapy machine to block out unwanted sound. Instead of using earplugs to block sound entirely, I’ve found that replacing annoying sounds with ones much more pleasant to sleep to has really made me feel much more relaxed, resulting in a more peaceful sleep.
