Discover Unique Home Décor Products — The Home Garden Directory

There are dozens of high-end furniture stores near where I live, which have prices that are too high for me to be able to afford the home décor goods from them. I know of the usual mid-range places available, and I’m sure you can name the exact same ones. But why would I want to have the same things in my home as everyone else? For me, the biggest compliment about my place would be someone saying that it looks/feels like me. Then, I would know that I decorated well. To really put your personal stamp on your home, unique touches are important. Outfitting your home with the same old things seen elsewhere, just won’t cut it, if you’re wanting a space that reflects your personality. The Home Garden Directory has products from all over North America. Companies that I’ve never heard of are showcased on that site. Does the Home Garden Directory have unique offerings? Absolutely!

One thing that I love seeing easily displayed is “Ships to Canada.” I like that I was able to know exactly what products could be sent to me, just by clicking on the “Ships to Canada.” in the left sidebar. If you’re keen on buying a particular item that isn’t listed as shipping to Canada, you can still purchase it. HomeGardenDirectory.com partnered with MyUS.com, so that you can get international shipping to countries all over the world.

One of the things that I most love doing is looking online for unique decorative items for my home. I’ll spend hours searching, often not finding anything special. I found some online retailers on the Home Garden Directory that I have heard of in passing, or not heard of at all. Discovering new products from online retailers from variety of categories is really exciting to me. On the main page, in the left sidebar, you can select a particular style to search under. I like that there is an eco/organic category, with a lot of companies available.

Searching online for home and garden shops brings up results only for big-box stores, the same ones that I could go to in person. . .with their typical, ordinary selection. I appreciate being introduced to so many new retailers, for everything from paint to lighting to architectural salvage.

Take a look at this page on the Home Garden Directory:

I no longer live in Calgary, but I can’t help but have a soft spot for it, still.

I am happy to see the Calgary company above selling their products to a larger customer base, through Home Garden Directory.

The kind of information provided about the companies on the Home Garden Directory is really thorough, with the website address, physical address, phone number and email address. This is all great information, especially if you’re looking for a local business. I searched under Canada –> British Columbia –> Vancouver, just to see what  stores came up. After that, I clicked on the different categories to refine my search. Instead of adding the websites that I found through the Home Garden Directory to my bookmarks folder, I added them to my “notebook” on the site. As more online retailers keep being added, I will be able to find more and more unique places to find products, which I can then add to my “notebook” as well.

The Home Garden Directory is a website that I could spend hours looking around on – mostly just for fun, but also research for design ideas for my blogs. This online retailer, for instance, has some great furniture and accessory items that I’m sure my readers would like to find out about.

The Home Garden Directory’s Facebook page is a great place to check out the latest online shops that have joined, and get lots of creative ideas for your home.

I received compensation for writing this post, but I really do highly recommend checking out the Home Garden Directory.
