School’s Out For Summer – Now What Do I Do With My Textbooks?
Are you or your children excited about summer vacation? After using textbooks everyday for a semester, what do you do with them afterward? I spent too many years in university, and as much as tuition really got me financially, buying textbooks for every class certainly didn’t help. All that money spent on textbooks over the years, and what do I have to show for it now?
If I’d known about CampusBookRentals.com I wouldn’t have been in that situation. Have you ever rented textbooks? Some textbooks I would like to keep for future reference, so I wouldn’t mind buying them — for courses in the Art History department, for instance. I just love flipping through the pretty pictures of famous paintings. If I decided to sell those books, though — a service called RentBack would allow me to make 2-4x more money compared to book buy-backs at the school’s bookstore. Did you keep your textbooks from your college days? I still have a few of the better ones hanging around, but most of mine ended up being sold back to the bookstore for next to nothing!
One of the things that would make me choose CampusBookRentals over buying new textbooks in the future is the fact that a donation to Operation Smile is made for every book rental from the website. How great is that?
I’d love to hear from you –
1. Do you/did you buy your textbooks each semester?
2. What plans do you have for summer, now that school’s out for summer?
This post was brought to you by CampusBookRentals.com. All thoughts are completely 100% my own, as always. 🙂
