3 Things I’m Currently Loving: April

It’s here! Q2 (April, May, June) has started! I don’t know about you, but I feel like it’s the time of year when I get (really) serious about working towards my bigger picture goals. Q1 (January, February, March) can feel hibernate-y, where I’m just waiting for sunshines and warmer days to arrive. Or maybe, I’ve been working towards my goals but not in a “go big” kind of a way. Can you relate?

I recently reviewed my Q1 goals, answering questions like: what went this quarter? what were the most challenging things so far this year? what was your favourite memory? how were you honouring your values/ways of being? And also: what values do I want to focus on in Q2?

3 Things I'm Currently Loving

  1. Connecting with new people online and finding “my people”
Through social media, I’ve been able to form some awesome new genuine connections. This is so perfect, since I’m an introvert, and I don’t like to go out to networking events to meet new people. I’m happy to have been able to connect with lots of like-minded bloggers and entrepreneurs online lately. I’m going to Seattle later this month for SoFabU On the Road, so there will be some in-person connecting as well.
  2. The strange mix of weather
Some days it’s sunny, some days it’s rainy, and some days it’s both. . .possibly at the same time. The freshness of spring, the strong winds, and the emergence of green leaves and lots of flowers also adds to the fun mix.It reminds me how I need to be adaptive, change with the times, and just keep pushing forward. I’m grateful for what I have, but know that there are also bigger, brighter, more beautiful things ahead.
  3. Focused work time
I’ve been working from home full-time for a few weeks now (and hopefully, forever more!) and loving the focused time to devote to this blog and my social media/business blogging business as well. It’s so much nicer not having to work in quick spurts

I’m also loving this song:

I’m linking up with Nisha from Love Laugh Mirch, Raj from Pink Chai Living, and Salma from The Write Balance for 3 Things Thursday.
